General Practice Network NT (GPNNT) leads and coordinates a Territory-wide Primary Health Care network with the objective of improving health service delivery and health outcomes in the Northern Territory, Australia

Become a Member

Membership with GPNNT is available to Organisations, GPs, Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers (AHWs) and all other Allied Health Professionals. Membership is free.

As the peak organisation representing general practice and primary health care across the Northern Territory, one of our major focuses is to provide many of the key services required by GPs and other health professionals to be effective and proactive partner in the delivery of primary health care services across the NT.

As a Member of GPNNT you will be able to access the following benefits:

  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events attracting education points for RACGP, ACRRM and RCNA.
  • A chance to participate in our annual CPD Needs Assessment. This is your opportunity to influence CPD topics for the coming year, and is conducted as part of our membership Renewal process.
  • Depending on your Remoteness Area (RA), you may be able to access limited financial support (capped per financial year) to attend external CPD events. Conditions apply.
  • Access to resources covering health information, support and networks available to you i.e. immediate notifications from the Centre for Disease Control (CDC), GPNNT Specialist & Referral Manual, GPs for Doctors Manual, Psychological Services Manual etc.
  • You will receive copies of our weekly newsletter, Weekly PHaCTs and our quarterly magazine, Ochre.

In an effort to become a greener organisation we are now offering the opportunity for membership forms to be completed and submitted online. We are also encouraging all our Members to receive correspondence, notices, announcements and publications from GPNNT via email where possible.
